Capturing the humanity of moments is what fuels me. The hugs you can feel, the soft touches, the tears falling, the never ending smiles, the moments between mom & dad - those are the ones I want to capture! More of what it FEELS like not just what it looks like. Telling stories has always been my favorite, but words tend to get lost or forgotten so I tell them the best way I know how, through photographs.

Meet Will - An adventurous wedding & couples photographer based in Seattle & documenting real love stories all over the world!

I’m Will, a national park lover, partner to my best friend, & compulsive coffee consumer. When I’m not out photographing some of the most beautiful souls on the planet, you can usually find me playing Super Hot on my Oculus; hitting the slopes, or hanging out with friends on the roof sipping whiskey by the fire.

I'm always looking for new house plants, the next adventure, or anything beige. Whether you & I are chatting over drinks, playing kubb on the beach, or telling your story through photography, I’m here to make sure you feel fully seen & deeply loved during the time we spend together.

MEET WILL

My job is my passion, 

One I don’t like to call work, but what fuels my creative soul. Community has been my whole heart since I can remember. I love doing life alongside people & telling their story exactly how it is without all the fluff. 

This is all so much more than contracts & business to me, I get excited thinking about the friendship & the people. Being a part of the most important day of your life feels a lot like becoming family. I believe your story is unique & deserves to be told. 

But I will also be the first to say I am not for everyone. 

My style & approach to shooting is not your traditional photographer’s way of doing things. I am not into the awkward posing type of storytelling but the raw, emotional, candid, exactly-where-you-are type of storytelling. I’m genuinely interested in attracting clients & couples that connect strongly with my work & who put trust in me & my vision. 

I work hard to only take a select number of weddings per year that align with these qualities to give my clients the attention they need & deserve. To me, no adventure is too big & no place is too far. I will go to the edge, get in the mud, do anything for the shot & make my clients feel something.

What happens next? Let me know which package you are interested in & I will send over a booking proposal! The signed contract & 50% retainer will secure your date on my calendar. After that, the remaining balance is due the day after your wedding.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

 

  • A link to your online gallery will be sent within four weeks of our session. I know how hard it is to wait for your photos, so I will make sure to tide you over with some sneak peeks within 48 hours as well!

  • All the good ones! Since each wedding & couple session is different, my philosophy is to share all the best photos with you, rather than a predetermined number of images. The number of images may also vary depending on how long I’m with you and how our timeline plays out throughout the day. I’ll give you ALL the photos that aren’t duplicates, blurry, or shots of you blinking, eating, etc. For most of my couples, the hardest part is choosing which images to print from all the shots they receive!

  • Of course! You’re welcome to post your photos wherever you like. I do ask that when posting, you 1. either tag or credit me in the caption, and 2. don’t edit or enhance the photos in any way.

  • I will absolutely be available to assist you in any area, whether it’s about photos, timelines, what to wear, lighting, vendors, you name it – I’m happy to help!

  • Of course! I never shoot without a backup of everything, just in case!

  • When you have a second shooter at your wedding, your photographer can cover more ground, get shots from multiple angles and manage time efficiently (since they can essentially be in two places at once!). A second shooter also serves as a backup in case of an emergency. Unless you’re having a very small wedding or elopement, I strongly recommend having a second shooter there to make sure you get the most out of our photos.

  • Of course! If you’re interested in seeing a full gallery, just shoot me an email and I’d be happy to send a few over to you.

  • Heck yes, I do! Travel is my favorite, and nowhere is too far. Email me for a custom travel quote since each location will be a little different!

  • Once we start planning your couple session, I’ll send you a style guide that will help you feel prepared knowing which outfit choices work best in photos! Ultimately, I recommend wearing whatever makes you feel most comfortable, confident, and completely yourself!
